City Agreement Ratified by Members

 CUPE Local 30 Members Approve a Five Year Contract with the City of Edmonton

  Edmonton, Ab – CUPE Local 30 Municipal Workers have ratified a new Collective Agreement with the City of Edmonton.

The new contract will include a 13% wage increase over a five year term, as well as improvements to premiums, working conditions and the Health Care Spending Account.

Thank you to all the members who voted at various polling stations during the last five days of voting.

Past employees and employees on layoff will need to apply for retroactive pay.  The application for retroactive pay will be posted next week.  The deadline for applying for retroactive pay is March 31, 2015.  The City has advised us that this date will not be extended.   If you are in contact with any former City of Edmonton employees who left the employ of the City after December 28, 2013, please asked them to check our website for information on applying for their retro pay.  Current and retired employees will automatically receive their retroactive pay.
